Preschool Ministry: More Than Just Childcare!
The Preschool Ministry at Emmaus provides a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment for infants through kindergarteners. We are committed to building a strong spiritual foundation by helping children grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. This ministry is more than just childcare—it’s about teaching biblical truth in a developmentally appropriate way, modeling worship, and laying the groundwork for a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
Safety & Security
Your child’s safety is our priority. We have strategic personnel and security systems in place to ensure a secure environment. If a need arises during your child’s time in Preschool Ministry, we can contact you via text message.
Sunday Mornings
9:15 AM | Sunday School
Infants through kindergarteners experience loving care while learning about Jesus through songs, games, crafts, and Bible stories using age-appropriate curriculum. we currently use The Gospel Project by Lifeway.
10:45 AM | Worship Service
Extended Teaching Care is provided for Infants through children not yet in Pre-K.
Pre-K through 1st Grade are invited to Elevate, our Children’s Church. After worshiping with their parents, they are dismissed before the sermon for a time of engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching. (Elevate meets every Sunday except the 1st Sunday of each month and the summer months.)
Wednesday Evenings | 6:00 PM
(Available January-April, July, and September-November)
Infants – 4 years (not yet in Pre-K): For children of adults attending Wednesday Night Bible Studies or serving on Wednesday nights.
Pre-K & Kindergarten Class: Open to all children who want to have fun, make friends, and learn more about Jesus, the Bible, and missions.
Schedule:
School Year (Sept-April): 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Summer (July): 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Parent-Child Dedication Service
Twice a year, we hold a Parent-Child Dedication to encourage families, pray for little ones, and as a reminder to the church of the importance of investing in children and families.
At Emmaus, we believe every moment with a child is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith. Our Preschool Ministry is more than childcare—it’s discipleship from the very beginning!
