40th Anniversary Service
Join us at 10:45am on December 6, 2026, to celebrate 40 years of God's faithfulness for our church family!
The official birthdate for Emmaus is Dec 7th, but we're celebrating a day early. (The church began in 1983 as a mission of First Moore and was officially constituted on Dec 7, 1986.)
40th Anniversary Offering
We are working towards a major offering goal of $400,000 to celebrate our church’s 40th Anniversary.
The first $50K that is given will go to the new Church Strengthening Fund
- This will be matched with $50K from our Miscellaneous Missions Designated Account.
- The resulting $100K Church Strengthening Fund will focus on:
- “Jerusalem”/Here - Plant or revitalize a local church by 2033
- “Judea & Samaria”/Near - Plant or revitalize a regional/national church by 2036
The second $50K will go to the new Gospel Frontier Fund
- This will be matched with $50K from our Miscellaneous Missions Designated Account.
- The resulting $100K Gospel Frontier Fund will focus on:
- “Ends of the Earth”/Far - Engage an unreached people group by 2036.
The remaining funds (hopefully $300K!) will go to the Future Building Account
- Why are we aiming for $300K to this account?
- #1 - Reach $1M in our Future Building Fund
- Based on our current budgeted giving, we will have approximately $710K in our Future Building Account by the end of 2026, not counting extra gifts.
- We would love for this account to reach $1,000,000 by the end of 2026.
- #2 - Matches our new Yearly Budgeted Amount for 2027
- Each year we have increased the amount budgeted for future buildings.
- The yearly budgeted amount in 2027 will be $300K.
- $300K in December 2026 would be a symbolic, encouraging step!
